Nomnomnom. This TV show kept showing people making and eating Jilapies so I went and made some myself xD

Mmmm Jilapi .. I love you, you sexy unhealthy sweetness mmm.

Note - Jilapi is the Bengali word for the Asian sweet Jalebi. It is essentially patterned batter, fried in oil, before being dunked into a sugar syrup and taken out to become crispy sweet :D its amazing .. though I ended up frying mine in Iftar Fry Up let over oil .. so there is a slight spicy after taste. Opps. Oh well, pretty kick ass for first attempt. And means more Jilapi for me!!!
